MAGIC ROUTE OF OIA

Discover a 15 km route that combines natural and historical heritage, with breathtaking views of the Atlantic coast, petroglyphs and the remains of fortifica...
An itinerary that takes advantage of the forest service tracks that cross the western slope of the Sierra de la Groba through the parishes of Santa María de Oia, San Mamede de *Pedornes, San Miguel de Viladesuso and Santa Uxía de *Mougás, making a linear route of 15 km, of medium-low difficulty, that combines natural and historical heritage. If we visit all the resources indicated on the route, we will walk about 20 km. It is recommended to start the route from the Mirador de la Cantera, on the road between Oiga and Torroña, as we will need the support of a vehicle to do it in one direction only and to finish our route at the Camping del Molino.

The route has several significant places that offer impressive views over the Atlantic coast, as well as groups of petroglyphs and remains of fortified enclosures, with the Castro de la *Cabeciña standing out.
