Discover a 12.5 km route with panoramic views, waterfalls and cultural heritage. Recommended counter-clockwise, it includes a swim in the "Pontella da Pedrei...

During the 12.5 km of its route and more than 350 metres of positive difference in altitude, this route shows us part of the great natural and cultural heritage of the parishes of Loureza and Burgueira, belonging to the municipality of Oia.

Although the route is circular and signposted in both directions, we recommend doing it in an anti-clockwise direction, leaving from the bar "El puente" in the direction of the "Pozas da Bugalleira".

After a short walk through the streets of Loureza, we will start the uphill section along the Tamuxe river bank towards Burgueira, passing by the Pozas da Bugalleira, Loureza and the "Pozo do Arco".

These resources make up a set of waterfalls of great scenic value.

After a stretch of wide tracks with good views of the Miño river, we reach the village of Bonaval and then the parish of Burgueira.

A paved path will lead us to the church of San Pedro de Burgueira and, from there, to the village of Refoxos.

The descent continues along the so-called "Camiño dos mortos", a dense forest that usually goes unnoticed next to the Portarás bridge.

In the final part, we reach the "Pontella da Pedreira", another characteristic point where we can conclude our walk with a swim.
