One of the neighbourhood’s most symbolic buildings is known as Henriqueta House. It boasts a number of elements characteristic of the eighteenth century, such as its exterior staircase, although it is presumed that the house was built before that time period. It has granite walls built with masonry, and of note is the roof’s wooden frame.
